"“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can
do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."
- Martin Luther King Jr.
Our Own Progress
It all started with a passion to end the cycles of violence among our youth and shape their lives for the better. Philly Peace in Progress exists to make a difference in our future generations, and we’re here to put in the work now. Our goal is to be the firm foundation for our youth to build themselves up into the people they dream of becoming, and so much more.
And how do we plan on accomplishing this huge mission?
By focusing on the needs of each individual person and developing lifelong skills.
Lifelong skills like conflict management, leadership, mental health regulation, day-to-day health & fitness, cultural arts, education & literacy, social services, and outreach support. The Philly Peace In Progress team is here to foster RESILIENCE in our youth.
